The æternity Foundation Bulgaria aims at creating an innovation driven ecosystem that builds the applications and technologies to make the decentralized world possible.
We facilitate the process by connecting the dots of education, powering Smart cities, supporting the growth of an ecosystem and building a Balkan-wide network of great talents with cutting edge ideas.
Scope of Work
Connecting the Balkans
Great ideas could be realised when incredible individuals come together to collaborate. We believe it is our strength to connect people and strive to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas and expertise in the Balkan region.

Powering Smart cities
Populations are becoming more and more urban, with 60% of people expected to live in cities by 2050. Our goal is to provide solutions for the public and private sectors in our ever-growing cities, improving citizens' lives through blockchain technology.

Facilitating Education
We aim to provide resources and invest in blockchain education, in order to help aspiring founders launch their ideas with a team of talented experts with the right set of skills and knowledge.

Growing the ecosystem
The growth of the Balkan blockchain ecosystem rests upon finding parallels between technology and every day's lives. We want to build bridges between blockchain and society through art and culture and bringing people together.

Partnership with Software University, Bulgaria
Real-world deployment and widespread penetration of the blockchain technology is founded upon proper, focused and solid education. The æternity foundation Bulgaria is working with Software University, Sofia in brining Blockchain education and expertise to a large number of students.
Application for homeless animals in Varna city
æternity Foundation Bulgaria is proudly partnering with Varna Municipality to build an application for solving the problem with homeless and mistreated animals on the streets. Application is due to be released in Q4 of 2018.

Nikola Stojanow
President of the Board
CBDO of æternity and CEO of æternity Ventures, Nikola is a passionate believer in the unlimited possibilities of blockchain technologies. Born in Sofia, Nikola founded æternity Foundation Bulgaria with the vision to support the development and future of the blockchain ecosystem in the Balkans.
Georgi Matev
Member of the Board
Attorney at Law with substantial experience in the field of civil law especially ICT and corporate law. Extensive competence in VC funding and transactions. Georgi is passionate about blockchain technologies and their legal aspects and regulation framework accordingly.
Hristo Tenchev
Member of the Board
Hristo Tenchev is co-founder of Bitcoin7 and Locktrip, founder of XS Software and co-founder at Software University - an innovative IT education centre pioneering Blockchain education in Bulgaria.
